This sailing trip begins in T\u00f3rshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. This volcanic archipelago lies in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between Scotland and Iceland. We'll take a few days to explore the remote islands and mystical places.<\/p>\n
We are waiting for a suitable weather window for the multi-day crossing. This offshore leg will take us approximately four to five days non-stop on the Atlantic. This route leads us across the North Atlantic, where we can expect cooler temperatures even in summer. The particular sailing challenge on this route lies in the frequent passage of several low-pressure systems, making strategic weather navigation essential.<\/p>\n
On our way to Bod\u00f8, we'll visit the iconic Lofoten archipelago in Norway. We'll experience the powerful nature and imposing coastline of Norway. Along this stretch of coast, we'll find countless island groups scattered off the coast. Our destinations might include charming towns like Reine or Henningsv\u00e6r. Here, we'll be rewarded with numerous anchorages against a picturesque backdrop. We'll stop in idyllic fishing harbors with their brightly painted wooden houses and discover mystical places.<\/p>\n
The crew decides together how ambitious our route will actually be. We believe it's all about the mix. After all, we want to feel like we're discovering something, both on the open sea and in the ports of call. The entire passage is approximately 800 nautical miles long.<\/p>\n
